If you want to clean your emerald ring or any emerald jewelry piece at home, you can do it. Use cold soapy water (a clear, smooth hand soap is good) and a soft-bristle brush like a child's toothbrush; this will allow you to clean all the setting's details and clean all around the gemstones in a gentle way. Make sure to rinse the ring in the same temperature water as you used to clean it, so you don't alter any of the inclusions inside the emerald. Dry the ring with a soft towel. This cleaning method is the most gentle and the best way to clean an emerald ring at home.
